The Northern regional chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Mohammed Bantima Samba has donated 418 motorbikes to the party’s electoral area coordinators in the region.

The motorbikes are to be distributed to all electoral area coordinators across the 18 constituencies.

Addressing the media after the donation, chairman Samba noted that, the motorbikes is a promised fulfilled. He said the bikes will also facilitate the work of the coordinators at the grassroot level in ensuring the party’s victory on December 7.

He added that with few days to go to the polls, the executives are supposed to go to every corner within their electoral areas to campaign for the party using the motorbikes.

The chairman who failed to disclose the cost of the motorbikes indicated that, it was his personal donation which he financed with his own money and not from the party. He said the gesture is in connection with his “agenda win 15 seats” which he pledged to achieve for the NPP in Northern region. Chairman Samba has promised to win 15 out of the 18 seats in Northern region.

He’s also confident that per the delivery of the Akufo Addo led administration in the Northern region, the NPP will win hands down in the region.

“His excellency Nana Akufo Addo has work within the four years, Ghanaians have appreciated, we the people in the Northern region we have appreciated especially the peace we are enjoying in Northern region and the developmental projects he has brought into our region, especially the peace alone we don’t know how to thank him”.

“And due to our campaign, the people in the Northern region everybody is accepted 7th December they are going to give their mandate to his Excellency Nana Akufo Addo. And Nana Akufo Addo is going to win over one million votes against our opponents and the NDC”.

“We the people in the Northern region, we are working hard to form majority. When you look at the work the parliamentary candidates are doing if you don’t take time the 15 seats we are talking of, we are going to win 16 seats in Northern region”.

“As our former electoral commission said the elections are won at the polling station, we are going to open our eyes and work very well and work closer to make sure we succeeded victory in 7th December, that’s the reason why I provided this 418 motorbikes to all the electoral area coordinators to make sure 7th December, they go into their electoral areas and bring people to vote at the same time to protect our ballots and make sure the votes are cast and declared fairly and at the end of the day the NPP will form majority in Northern region”.
