The Max Palasco Foundation has donated a brand-new incubator to Samartex Hospital in Samreboi, aimed at improving healthcare delivery in the municipality, especially for newborn babies in need of critical care.
The presentation, which took place on 25th March 2026, forms part of the foundation’s commitment to supporting quality healthcare in the Western Region.
The incubator has been installed at the hospital’s maternity ward to help care for premature and vulnerable babies who require special medical attention.
Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Founder of the foundation, H. E. Dr. Maxwell Boakye, a member of the Council of State, expressed gratitude to God for the opportunity to honour his late mother through the donation.
According to him, the gesture is in fulfillment of his mother’s dream to support maternal and child healthcare.
“I thank God for today, a day where my family and I honour my late mother by donating this incubator to the maternity ward. This donation is in line with my mother’s dream, and also a predecessor to the children’s ward, which is currently at the material procurement stage.
This is part of my vision to promote and support quality healthcare in the Western Region of Ghana. The foundation, my family and I hope this donation will go a long way to support life, especially the lives of vulnerable premature babies and give them an equal fighting chance,” he stated.
Hospital authorities at Samartex Hospital expressed appreciation to the Max Palasco Foundation, noting that the equipment will significantly improve neonatal care and help reduce infant mortality in the area.
The foundation reaffirmed its commitment to continue supporting health, education, and social development projects across the region
