Hearts of oak midfielder, Gladson Awako wants coach Samuel Boadu to be given more time at the club as he has proven himself to be a great coach.
His comments comes at the back of some fans of the club calling for the sack of Samuel Boadu after the team’s unimpressive performance in the just ended Ghana premier league.
Speaking to Starr Sports, Awako who also doubles as the captain of Black Galaxies says Samuel Boadu has achieved alot for the rainbow club with barely two years in office
“Boadu has done so well. He has won three trophies. As players we are there to work with any coach that comes in but I will be happy if they give him some time. He has spent less than two years at the club and there are new players coming in so he needs time to know these players. Last season wasn’t that bad even though we couldn’t finish in the top four but I think he has done a good job for the club”
Awako is currently at the camp of Black Galaxies preparing for the upcoming chan qualifiers against Mali
