Chairman of the National Chapters Committee (NCC), for Accra Hearts of Oak, Elvis Herman Hesse has urged supporters of the club to exercise patience and give their maximum support to Samuel Boadu despite a slow start in the Ghana Premier League campaign.
Samuel Boadu has been under immense pressure following a poor run of results this season . The Phobians won 2-0 against Algerian side JS Soaura in the CAF confederation cup play-offs at the Accra Sports Stadium but are yet to win a game in the Ghana Premier League and that has led to a section of fans calling for Samuel Boadu’s head.
However, Chairman Herman believes that Boadu needs more time to turn things around and get Hearts of to where they belong.
“I will plead with the fans to exercise patience for the coach. It’s the same coach who came last season when we never even believed that we could win double last season. So I will entreat all the supporters who are feeling bad to exercise patience. There is no cause for alarm. Things will change very soon.
They should give the coach more time and I believe in the capabilities of the coach that he will turn things around and get Hearts of Oak to where it belongs”.
Hearts of Oak will go to Algeria with a two-goal advantage for the second leg of the CAF confederation cup play-offs on Sunday, December 5.
