The mantra, ‘today’s youth are our future leaders’was given real meaning when Serwaa Foundation made a donation to the Pediatrics Department of the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital.
The Serwaa Foundation is a group of Senior High School students who have unionized to embark on projects aimed at benefitting the less privileged in society.
The items donated range from biscuits, beverages, toiletries etc.
Presenting the items the brain behind the Serwaa Foundation, Araba Serwaa Prah explained that the aim of the foundation is to help alleviate the various challenges confronting society.
She went further to disclose that the Serwaa Foundation started somewhere May 2018 after she got the inspiration to extend a helping hand to the needy.
Receiving the items, The Head of the Pediatrics Department at the Effia-Nkwanta hospital expressed profoundly his appreciation to Serwaa Foundation for the gesture and urged other youths to emulate.
