A Street in Ashaiman, a community in the Greater Accra region has been named after popular Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy.
The musician born Livingstone Etse Satekla was born and raised in Ashaiman and started his music career in the popular community off the Tema motorway.
Upon his return from Jamaica, where the 2015 BET winner had been performing, Stonebwoy uploaded the photo with the caption: “Just As I Touched Down…I represented for the HOOD. And the HOOD represent For Me!!!”
Stonebwoy is likely to win another artiste of the year award after he was nominated in that category for the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards scheduled April 8, 2017.
