Popular GH One talk show, The Late Afternoon Show, previously anchored by Berla Mundi, will now be hosted by Dr Caryn Agyeman Prempeh, management of EIB Network announced.
It follows Berla Mundi’s departure.
The announcement comes a day after Berla Mundi disclosed via an Instagram post that she was leaving EIB Network.
Profile of new host
Prempeh, “a medical doctor with interest in Global Public Health focusing in Preventive Medicine and Female reproductive Cancers, especially cervical cancer in Ghana,” arrives relatively unknown in media circles, but is, her handlers are confident, more than capable of filling Mundi’s shoes.
An alumnus of St Roses Secondary School, Headington Girls School, Oxford, University College Of London, School Of Medical Science (KNUST), Queen Mary University of London, Prempeh is the founder of the CERVIVA non-profit, aimed at creating awareness and educating women on Cervical Cancer.
She currently practices with the 37 Military Hospital – Accra, Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital- Kumasi, and Abenkyiman Hospital – Kumasi, and is Resident Medical Officer at the Claron Health International – Accra.
