International Relations Expert, Ishmael Kwabla Hlovor has opined that Trump’s campaign message resonated with the American voters, ultimately leading to his victory in the US Election.
Former President Donald Trump took the stage and declared victory early Wednesday morning, cementing an extraordinary political comeback.
Minutes earlier news organizations called the 2024 presidential race for him.
‘We made history for a reason tonight, and the reason is that we overcame obstacles that nobody thought possible,’ he said.
‘And it is now clear that we’ve achieved the most incredible political thing.’
The moment of truth came earlier when Fox News called Pennsylvania, the biggest of the battleground prizes.
It meant Trump had won three of the key states, making victory inevitable.
In an interview on Starr Today with Naa Dedei Tettey, Dr. Hlovor asserted that Donald Trump and the Republican Party were able to craft a message that resonated with the average American voter, tapping into their concerns. He also added that the Republican Party was able to pay attention to certain key areas that the Democrats had overlooked, contributing to Trump’s victory.
“Trump was able to present a message that is quite appealing to the average American voters. Not only Trump, but the Republican Party seems to have done something better than the Democrats because they are taking control of Congress. So that should tell you that they have focused on certain areas that the democrats have not paid attention to,”
Dr. Hlovor also indicated that Trump’s victory proves the assertion that America is not ready to be led by a black woman. Additionally, American society sought a leader whose formidable foreign policy would command respect, intimidate other countries and address pressing issues.
