NPP polls: New Juaben can’t wait to vote out ‘incompetent’ Asibe Yeboah – Free Zone boss

The Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Free Zones Authority, GFZA, Micheal Kofi Okyere Baafi has asserted that Constituents and executives of the ruling New Patriotic Party in the New Juaben South constituency see the incumbent Member of Parliament, Dr. Mark Asibe Yeboah, as “incompetent, inept and selfish” hence eager to vote him out.

Michael Okyere Baafi speaking to the media Thursday after bringing Koforidua to standstill with the crowd that followed him to submit his nomination form stated that President Akufo- Addo and the NPP “are supposed to win the 2020 election at all cost that is why we need a candidate who is competent who can stand the test of time to lead the people of New Juaben South”

According to him, “the people of New Juaben South, polling station executives, the ordinary party people are fed up with the Member of Parliament. They see him to be so incompetent and inept, they see him to be soo selfish, thinking about his own not the party and that is why we are going all out to win this election”.

He said the filing of the nomination form is an indication that “the battle line has been drawn, and the campaign is about starting. We are going to have vetting next week. After the vetting, the campaign will take shape and that is when we’ll move all out to secure the votes to capture power for the people of New Juaben South. The essence of this work is to achieve one objective; to rescue New Juaben South from incompetence and selfishness. That is all that we are doing”.

Michael Okyere Baafi assured the teeming supporters and party executives that he will ” make the people happy. We want to meet their aspirations. There are party people working hard for the party, they have been struggling contributing their quota towards the development of the party but when it comes to changing lives, when it comes to affecting their own lives they don’t see anything, and that is not what we want”.

Some delegates who followed the Parliamentary aspirant said New Juaben South Constituency needs someone who will be able to maximize votes of the party and bring hope to the people trusting Micheal Okyere Baafi as the surest bet.

Mr.Okyere Baafi is contesting for the second attempt to unseat the incumbent Member of Parliament,Dr. Mark Asibe Yeboah who is a member of the Economic Management Team, seeking reelection for a third term Parliamentary bid.
