Match week five of the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League continues this week with some interesting games. Here is a preview of the games.
This weekend’s round of games starts today from the Accra Sports Stadium as eighth placed Legon Citites welcome seventh placed Aduana Stars. Both teams have not been consistent in their games this season. However, both teams have lost just a game this season. In their last three meetings, the Ogya Boys has won two while the Royals have won one.
On Saturday, league leaders, Asante Kotoko will travel to Anyinase to battle it out with Karela United who are ninth on the table. The Porcupines have a 100% win record this season and they will be willing to continue with it. Karela on the other hand have just won a game this season. In their last four meetings, Asante Kotoko has win thrice while the Pride and Passion Boys have won one.
In Sogakope, WAFA will host Great Olympics while Accra Lions visits the Dun Park to face Bibiani Goldstars. At the Baba Yara sports stadium, second placed King Faisal will battle it out with Medeama while RTU hosts Ashgold at Tamale.
Eleven Wonders will lock horns with Elmina Sharks as Bechem United welcomes Dreams FC. Accra Hearts of Oak’s game with Berekum Chelsea has been postponed as the phobians face JS Saoura of Algeria in the CAF Confederations Cup.
