E/R: 10 females, 74 males file nomination forms to contest NPP Primaries

Out of the ninety-two aspiring candidates who picked nomination forms expressing intention to contest parliamentary seats in the Eastern region 84 have officially filed their nominations, setting the stage for a competitive race across 22 constituencies.

A statement issued by the Regional Secretary, Anthony Osei -Adjei said among the 84 aspirants are ten (10) formidable females poised to challenge the status quo of male dominance .

Additionally, 17 candidates fall within the youth category, presenting a blend of experienced and emerging leaders.

Hon Bryan Acheapong in Abetifi and Frederick Obeng Adom in Upper West Akim ran unopposed.
