The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong-Kodua, has hailed Dr. Bawumia as an exceptional leader who will deliver solutions to Ghana’s challenges.
Speaking at NPP’s manifesto launch at Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS), Takoradi on August 18th, Frimpong-Kodua said, “Dr. Bawumia will be a great President for us. He is an exceptional leader who accepts challenges and offers solutions.”
Frimpong-Kodua highlighted the NPP’s achievements, including free senior high school education. He shared a story of a young woman, Afiba, who benefited from the policy and is now seeking answers on how the NPP’s manifesto will help her find employment after completing university. “Afiba, I know you are watching this manifesto, but trust me, Dr. Bawumia will answer your questions,” he said.
The General Secretary emphasized the contrast between Dr. Bawumia and an “incompetent leader” who refuses to admit challenges and ridicules critics. “As a Ghanaian, I’m concerned about who leads this country in the next four years,” he said. Frimpong-Kodua urged Ghanaians to choose a leader who will be accountable to them.
Mr. Frimpong-Kodua assured Ghanaians that Dr. Bawumia will be accountable to them after his four years’ of stewardship. “With Dr. Bawumia, Ghanaians will have the chance to evaluate his administration after four years and decide whether to renew his mandate or not. Therefore, Ghanaians can hold him accountable to his manifesto,” he said.
The NPP has launched its manifesto for the 2024 elections, with Dr. Bawumia promising to build on the party’s achievements and deliver more solutions to Ghana’s challenges. Frimpong-Kodua’s speech emphasized the party’s commitment to accountability and leadership.
