Broadcast journalist and co-host of GHToday on GHOne TV, Joshua Kodjo Mensah has been appointed an Official Host of the Global Entrepreneurship Festival (GEF), effective immediately.
The appointment, contained in an official letter dated August 30, 2026, recognises Mr Mensah’s communication abilities, stage presence, professionalism, personality and potential to represent the GEF brand on international platforms.

As part of his new role, Mr Mensah will host and moderate selected GEF Global Business Forums, Business Mixers, activations and other events across cities around the world.
He will also serve as one of the Masters of Ceremony and hosts for the main Global Entrepreneurship Festival, including the 2026 edition scheduled to take place in Cairo, Egypt.
According to the appointment letter signed by GEF President, Dr Summy Smart Francis, Mr Mensah will engage entrepreneurs, investors, speakers, partners and other stakeholders at GEF events in a professional and energetic manner.
He is also expected to work closely with the GEF Events and Communications teams to ensure consistency in messaging, presentation and overall brand experience.
The appointment further requires him to represent the values, vision and global ambition of the Global Entrepreneurship Festival at assigned events, while participating in selected promotional activities, interviews, digital content and other GEF engagements.
As part of the appointment, Mr Mensah will receive an event allowance for every GEF event he officially anchors.
Approved international assignments will also come with flight and accommodation coverage, as well as logistics and local transportation support.
The role is expected to provide the broadcaster with international exposure through GEF events in various global cities and opportunities to share platforms with business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, government officials, and other influential personalities.
He will also gain access to GEF’s growing international network of business, media and institutional connections, alongside opportunities to strengthen his profile as a global host and moderator.
The GEF described the appointment as an opportunity for Mr Mensah to expand his career beyond event and television hosting and position himself as an internationally recognised personality.
The organization said the platform could provide access to global rooms, people, and opportunities capable of accelerating his professional growth and international positioning.
“We believe you have the capacity to grow with the GEF platform and become one of the familiar faces associated with our global platforms,” Dr Summy Smart Francis said in the appointment letter.
He added that the festival looks forward to having Mr Mensah represent GEF “with excellence, energy, and distinction” across the world.
The Global Entrepreneurship Festival is an international platform that brings together entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders, policymakers, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration, innovation, and economic opportunities.
