Ghanaian league Champions Samatex and FA Cup champions Nsoatreman FC have both been knocked out of the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup respectively after defeats to Raja Casablanca and CS Constantine.

Nsoatreman lost 1-0 against Algerian side CS Constantine in the second leg of their second-round match.

The result sealed a 3-0 aggregate victory for Constantine, who had previously won 2-0 in the first leg in Accra.

Constantine capitalized on their early advantage, resulting in a loss for Nsoatreman, who were wasteful in the first leg in Ghana.

Zakaria Benchaa scored the only goal in the second leg after 19 minutes, giving Constantine control of the match at the Stade Mohamed-Hamlaoui.

Meanwhile, Raja Club Athletic secured a spot in the CAF Champions League group phase with a 2-0 win over FC Samartex, completing a 4-2 aggregate victory in the final qualifying round.

The first leg in Accra ended in a thrilling 2-2 draw, leaving the tie wide open heading into the return match.

Marouane Zila put Raja ahead just before halftime, finding the net and giving his team a crucial edge.

FC Samartex fortified their backline to prevent further damage but struggled to generate meaningful chances.

Naoufel Zerhouni scored the crucial second goal for Raja Club Athletic, securing a 2-0 victory and their spot in the group stage of the tournament.
