The Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has reaffirmed his commitment to significantly integrate technology into the agricultural value chain.
If he is elected as president, he stated that his administration would establish District Agricultural Mechanization Centers throughout the country.
Dr. Bawumia added that the pursuit of a future rich in innovation and bold solutions is picking up with speed. He conveyed his confidence that, together, Ghanaians can build a nation full of possibilities under his leadership.
In a Facebook post, “I received a rousing, heartwarming welcome at Suaman, Juaboso, and Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai constituencies on Wednesday during the last day of my campaign tour of the Western North Region.
“The quest for a future filled with innovation and bold solutions is increasingly gathering pace, and together, I am confident that we can craft a nation filled with Possibilities. Thank you Western North!”
He began his campaign tour of the Western North Region on Monday, starting in the Bia East, Bia West, and Aowin constituencies.
“I continued to engage and throw more light on the policies and programmes I intend to implement, including a greater infusion of technology into the agriculture value chain and the setting up of District Agric Mechanization Centres across the country. Together, we can ensure greater food sufficiency and security,” Dr Bawumia wrote.
