The High Court in Accra has granted bail in the sum of GHc70,000 each to Elorm Ababio Esq. popularly known as Ama Governor and eight others involved in the #ReOccupyJulorbiHouse Protest.

In addition to the bail sum, the Court presided over by Justice Comfort Tasiame said they should produce two sureties each.

The sureties the Court said, should deposit their Ghana Card and digital addresses to the Registry of the Court.

The Court said the accused persons are to report to the police once until the final determination of the case.

The other accused persons are Emmanuel Gyan, Emmanuel Kwabena Addo, Ziblim Yakubu, Oheneba Prempeh, Philip Owusu Kobina, Akisibik Desmond, Von Coffie and Sadik Yakubu.

EIB Network’s Legal Affairs Correspondent, Murtala Inusah who was in Court said the prosecution opposed to the grant of bail but the Court said the application had merit and granted same.
