Experts in the agriculture value chain have underscored the importance of correct usage and dosage for liquid-based fertilizers to enhance crop yield sustainably. They warned that over-application could lead to an unhealthy concentration in the soil, advocating for precise measurements and applications to avoid environmental risks.
Speaking during the pre-launch seminar of ROKO Nano Urea, a revolutionary liquid-based fertilizer designed to deliver nitrogen directly through plant leaves, the Head of Horticulture Division of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Crop Research Institute Dr. Michael Kwabena Osei said the introduction of ROKO Nano Urea is expected to be a game-changer for farmers looking to optimize nitrogen intake in crops while maintaining eco-friendly practices.
Enam Yakah, Agric lead at Roko Nano Urea also emphasized the need for an appropriate method of application of liquid fertilizer to enhance crop yield.

The seminar highlighted the unique features of ROKO Nano Urea, emphasizing its efficiency in nutrient absorption. Unlike traditional fertilizers, ROKO Nano Urea allows plants to absorb over 80 percent of nutrients directly through their leaves, reducing soil leaching and maximizing plant growth.

The pre-launch seminar brought together experts in horticulture, soil science, and crop management to discuss the product’s impact on modern farming.
