Yammin accuses Rev. Kusi Boateng of election rigging conspiracy with NPP

Dr. Joseph Yammin, the National Organizer for the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), has leveled damning accusations against Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, founder of Power Chapel Worldwide.

Yammin alleges that the prominent pastor with two names played a central role in orchestrating electoral fraud on behalf of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), describing him as a key figure in what he calls a “rigging machine.”

Speaking in an interview with Kojo Marfo on AbusuaNkommo at Abusua965FM, Dr. Yammin did not mince words as he accused Rev. Kusi Boateng of betraying his sacred office to meddle in Ghana’s democratic process.

According to Yammin, Rev. Kusi Boateng was directly involved in plans to rig elections against the NDC, going as far as to claim that sensitive ballot papers were discovered in the pastor’s residence during the 2024 general election.

He said “Some pastors have done bad things against us. Reverend Kusi Boateng, the man with two passports, was involved when the NPP tried to rig the election; was that a good thing? The ballot papers we seized some came from his room and were distributed to other places.”

Dual Passports and Diplomatic Immunity

Yammin again raised serious concerns about Rev. Kusi Boateng’s possession of two passports, a diplomatic passport and an ordinary passport under a different name. He questioned how Rev. Kusi obtained a diplomatic passport in the first place, suggesting that it raises red flags about his activities.

“I don’t understand why he currently holds a diplomatic passport. They were asked to produce it, and it has been taken quietly. No one has asked how he obtained a diplomatic passport when he already has an ordinary passport with a different name. Having two passports is a criminal offense, and I expect him to be questioned about it. It’s suspicious that one fingerprint can be linked to two different names”, Yammin asserted.

Prayers for Rigging?

In his scathing critique, Yammin went further to accuse Rev. Kusi Boateng of not only being involved in logistical plans but also using his position as a pastor to spiritually endorse electoral fraud.

He alleged that Rev. Kusi and other pastors prayed for what he described as “a rigging mechanism” designed to install an NPP candidate as president.

“Rev. Kusi was involved in every rigging plan by the NPP,” Yammin claimed.

“As a pastor, he played a role in hatching plans to rig the election… He is among those who did harm to the state by praying for such schemes.”
