Shatta Wale’s Lamborghini is legitimate – YFAG counters Raymond Archer’s allegations

YFAG has debunked EOCO boss Raymond Archer’s claims about Shatta Wale’s Lamborghini, presenting independent vehicle records that confirm the car is genuine and not stolen.

The Youth for Accountable Governance (YFAG) has dismissed allegations made by the Executive Director of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), Raymond Archer, concerning the ownership and authenticity of Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale’s yellow 2019 Lamborghini Urus.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, YFAG said independent checks conducted through internationally recognized vehicle history platforms, including Carfax and Bumper, confirmed that the luxury vehicle with VIN: ZPBCA1ZL7KLA01914 is genuine and has never been reported stolen.

According to the group, the Lamborghini has a verifiable ownership record, clean resale trail, and documented maintenance history. Carfax data sighted by YFAG indicates:

  • No accidents or damage reported
  • No theft or salvage records
  • 10 service history records
  • 3 previous owners
  • Lawful export from the United States to Ghana in December 2022

The vehicle’s last recorded odometer reading was 49,391 miles, with multiple maintenance checks conducted at authorized Lamborghini dealerships in New Jersey, New York, and Houston between 2019 and 2022.

“These verified records prove beyond doubt that the Lamborghini is not stolen. Claims suggesting that the FBI contacted Ghana about this vehicle are completely false,” the statement stressed.

YFAG further accused Mr. Archer of deliberately misleading the public by fabricating links between former National Signals Bureau boss, Kwabena Adu-Boahene, and the vehicle.

The group said its own independent investigations found no connection between Mr. Adu-Boahene and Shatta Wale’s Lamborghini, describing the allegations as “reckless and diabolical.”

The youth group condemned what it described as an abuse of power and misuse of public office by the EOCO Director, warning that such actions erode public trust in state institutions.

“EOCO exists to investigate genuine cases of economic and organised crime, not to engage in media manipulation or personal vendettas,” the statement emphasized.

YFAG has therefore called on government to urgently investigate the matter and urged the media to avoid publishing unverified claims that could tarnish the reputations of innocent individuals.

“The Youth for Accountable Governance stand firmly against the abuse of public office for political or personal gain. Shatta Wale and Kwabena Adu-Boahene’s reputations must be protected, and truth and justice must prevail,” the statement concluded.
