The EIB Network has partnered with the University of Cape Coast (UCC) to support the university’s efforts to engage the public and inform them about its programs, initiatives, and contributions to national development.
The collaboration is aimed at helping the university reach a wider audience, enhance communication, and strengthen its visibility both locally and internationally. Through the partnership, UCC will leverage EIB Network’s extensive platforms to share information on academic offerings, research breakthroughs, student achievements, community projects, and other institutional developments.
Speaking on the partnership, the Chief Executive Officer of EIB Network, Nathan Kwabena Adisi, popularly known as Bola Ray, said the initiative is part of the organization’s corporate social responsibility, aimed at promoting education, knowledge sharing, and public engagement through EIB Network’s media platforms.
He added that the collaboration would also include joint programming, feature segments, interviews, and awareness campaigns designed to highlight the university’s impact on national development and innovation.
Management of the university, led by Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Denis Aheto, welcomed the initiative, describing it as a strategic partnership that will enhance UCC’s visibility, deepen public understanding of its role in higher education, and create opportunities for collaborative projects that benefit students and the wider community.
The University of Cape Coast, one of Ghana’s leading public universities, has in recent years actively sought partnerships that support innovation, communication, and institutional growth. This latest collaboration reflects both institutions’ shared commitment to education, social development, and effective engagement with the public.
