Dr. Palgrave Boakye Danquah, a member of the campaign team for NPP presidential aspirant Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has affirmed the team’s commitment to party unity following the signing of the peace pact by all five NPP aspirants.

Speaking on Morning Starr with Naa Dedei Tettey on Friday, January 23, 2026, Dr. Danquah said the peace pact was a positive step for the party ahead of the January 31 primaries.

“Well, I think that yesterday was an excellent conversation, an excellent process of deepening of our political party structure. And we are pleased to see that everyone has smoked the peace pipe and that the outcome of this internal contest election will be accepted by all, however it goes,” he stated.

He expressed confidence in Ken Agyapongs’s chances in the primaries. “We are confident as a team that Kennedy is going to emerge victorious on the 31st of January, 2026,” Dr. Danquah added.

The peace pact, signed by all aspirants, commits participants to party unity, acceptance of electoral outcomes, and maintaining peace within the party.
