Velo West Africa Group has marked a major milestone with the celebration of ITALKOL’s 10th anniversary in Ghana, commemorating a decade of delivering innovative construction and finishing solutions to the country’s growing building industry.

Since its introduction in 2016, ITALKOL has positioned itself as a provider of high-performance construction materials designed specifically for African conditions while maintaining European manufacturing standards. The brand’s portfolio includes tiling systems, waterproofing solutions, skimming products, industrial flooring systems, and decorative wall finishes.

Speaking at the anniversary event, Managing Director Enkelejda Xhebexhiu highlighted quality, technical support, and industry training as key drivers behind the company’s growth. She emphasized that achieving sustainable construction outcomes requires a combination of quality materials, technical expertise, skilled craftsmanship, and proper application practices.

Over the last decade, Velo West Africa Group has partnered with contractors, engineers, architects, artisans, and project owners across Ghana. Through professional training programs, live product demonstrations, technical support services, and on-site guidance, the company has played a role in raising construction standards within the sector. The company’s expansion journey continued in 2021 with the launch of PIXEL PAINTS, a premium coatings brand offering architectural paints, decorative finishes, and waterproofing systems specifically developed for tropical climates.

Looking ahead, Velo West Africa Group announced plans to introduce Siniat Lightweight Construction Solutions to the Ghanaian market. The announcement was delivered during the anniversary celebration by Benjamin Naas, Export and Business Development Manager at Etex Building Performance. The partnership with Siniat, one of Europe’s leading construction brands under the Etex Group, is the culmination of years of collaboration and market experience.

According to Velo West Africa Group, the partnership model has been designed to leverage European innovation, technical expertise, and training academy capabilities alongside the company’s local market knowledge, customer support systems, and established distribution network.

The collaboration is expected to strengthen Ghana’s dry construction sector by supporting demand for efficient, modern, and sustainable building solutions. As the company enters its next decade, Ms. Xhebexhiu thanked clients, partners, contractors, engineers, architects, artisans, and employees for their support.

She noted that while the anniversary celebrates ten years of progress, it also marks the beginning of a new phase focused on innovation, capacity development, and the introduction of advanced construction technologies that will contribute to the future growth of Ghana’s construction industry.
