The Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin has recalled the House from its recess for a special sitting to address urgent parliamentary business.
Under Order 58(4) of the Standing Orders, Parliament will sit from Monday, 24 August to Friday, 28 August 2026.
During the special session, the House is expected to consider the nominations of Mahama Ayariga as Minister-designate for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, and Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings as Minister-designate for Environment, Science and Technology.
