Dr Sa-ad Iddrisu has donated more than 100 pairs of sandals, 400 exercise books, pens and school uniforms to pupils of NWOGU D/A Junior High School in the Kumbungu District of the Northern Region.
The donation was made on Thursday, October 15, 2026, as part of efforts to support pupils and promote access to education in the area.
The items were presented on behalf of Dr Sa-ad by his personal assistant, Nurudeen Haruna, to the school, which is located in the Gupanarigu Circuit of the Kumbungu District.
The donation is expected to help address some of the pupils’ basic educational needs by providing essential learning materials and schoolwear to support their participation in academic activities.
The provision of sandals, exercise books and uniforms is also expected to ease the financial burden on parents and guardians while encouraging school attendance and helping pupils concentrate on their studies.
The gesture highlights the role of community support and individual contributions in improving educational outcomes and creating a conducive learning environment for schoolchildren.
