Skysat Technologies (Ghana) Ltd., dealers in innovative digital printing machines, has expanded its operations by opening a new branch in the Jubilee Mall, the commercial site of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

The company which was established in Ghana on 22nd May, 2014, and was officially launched in January 2015, is a subsidiary of Skysat (Nigeria) which was incorporated in 2005.

Speaking at the official launch of the Kumasi branch, the Managing Director of Skysat Technologies Ghana, Mr. Izzat Debs, said the company started by establishing hundreds of digital photo printing laboratories across Nigeria and Ghana, servicing and maintaining high end printing equipment nationwide and creating value for its customers, entrepreneurs who invested in modern profitable businesses.

SKySAT Technologies is the preferred partner and exclusive distributor of Konica Minolta business solutions (Europe) Gmbh. Konica Minolta is recognized worldwide as one of the best manufacturers of MFP (Multi-Function Peripherals) ranging from office and business copiers to printers and digital presses.

“As of today, our Konica Minolta products are most preferred among commercial printers in Ghana. We now have clients well spread in Government, Finance, Oil and Gas, the educational sector and many more. All this thanks to the reliability and ruggedness of our products, coupled with the lowest cost per copy in the industry. Due to its excellent colour quality and very low cost per print, Konica Minolta has penetrated very deeply into the commercial print market in Ghana, with many customers in NEWTOWN In Accra and Asafo , here in Kumasi”, Mr. Debs added.

Responding to why they have decided to expand their operations to Kumasi, Mr. Izzat Debs said the success and satisfaction of their customers coupled with the vision of getting their quality products and services closer to all corporate organisations and individual business people, is what has encouraged them to open a branch in Kumasi.

According to Mr. Debs their Accra branch located in Osu is in itself a showroom, a service centre with highly trained technicians to serve its customers and give them the after sales service support they need.

“We offer a complete solution to your printing or document management needs: Apart from the hardware(which has many features such as secure printing, multiple inline finishing options; binding, stapling, saddle stitching, punching, holing)

Superb color print quality and very low cost per print. We have also partnered with a software company called YSOFT, which provides a cutting edge software application specialized for print, copy and scan management. This application helps your business by reducing costs, enhancing document security, and increasing your workflow productivity”, added Mr. Debs.

The Special Guest for the launch, Mr. Paul Tihn, the Business support manager (East and West Africa), Konica Minolta Business solutions Europe (GmBh), also reassured the Ghanaian public that the Konica Minolta products are of high quality and that the Skysat Technical team is well trained and has the adequate technical support to be given to all their customers.
