Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has expressed his joy over Ghana’s emphatic victory against Madagascar in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The coach led his team to a commanding 3-0 victory over their Group I rivals in the Round 6 clash on Monday, March 24.
In a post-match interview, coach Otto Addo stated that he firmly believes Ghana’s victory was well-deserved.
“Like I said, it is not done yet. We still have to work hard. This is football, [and] things can turn very fast, and as a national [team] coach, you always have to wait for some months before you can get the team together to play again”.
“I am very happy with the result and the way we played. It’s well-deserved, and we are looking forward,” Coach Otto Addo said.
Ghana’s victory over Madagascar has lifted the Black Stars to the top of the Group I standings in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Coach Otto Addo’s team sits at 15 points after six matches, holding a five-point lead over second-placed Madagascar.
