A 49-year-old woman, identified as Ama Saah, has been brutally murdered on her farm at Akyem Tumfa in the Atiwa West District of the Eastern Region.
The mother of five was discovered with multiple deep cuts to her neck, while one of her wrists had been severed.
Preliminary police investigations suggest the killing may be connected to a land dispute.
The Eastern South Police Command has since confirmed the arrest of one suspect as investigations continue.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue for preservation and autopsy.
