Sports journalist at EIB Network’s GHOne TV and Starr FM Nana Ama Agyemang has been shortlisted for the Outstanding Woman Sports Journalist of the Year at the 2022 Ghana Outstanding Women Awards.
The annual awards ceremony which seeks to reward women for their excellent work in the course of the year will take place next month.
Nana Ama Agyemang, who is widely regarded as ‘The Fifa Lady’ has been named in the outstanding woman Sports Journalist of the Year category.
Over the years, she has told the humanitarian stories of sports people and has been the source of light for some of these individuals who have struggled to make a name for themselves in the sporting industry.
Her passion for sports journalism has grown over the years and her recent nomination is only a sign of recognition for her good works.
With her understanding of the job, she has been part of the faces of EIB’s sports desk over the years with her experience extending to grooming others who come to work with the organisation.
The event is scheduled for September 4, 2022, with voting set to end on Saturday, September 3.
