As part of the Greening Ghana Project, high profile persons from the Attorney General Department and Ministry of Justice planted trees at the uncompleted Law Office, near the High Court Complex in Accra.
While being led by the Attorney General, Godfred Yeboah Dame with the support from his Deputy, Ms Diana Asonaba Dapaah, the Chief Director and other distinguished Attorneys from the ministry, they planted various trees at the facility.
The Greening Ghana Day exercise taking place across the country.
This is the the third time the Attorney General and his staff have planted trees at the Law House which is expected to be completed by September.
The previous trees planted are currently surviving well.
Deputy Attorney General, Diana Asonaba Dapaah who spoke to GHOne TV after the exercise encouraged all Ghanaians and institutional to join in planting trees.
The exercise involved over 300 species which include Palm Tree, Coconut, Mango, Weeping Fig, Militia, Avocado, Pawpaw, Mahogany, Teak, Virtual Palm, Tree of life, Cocoa, Montalis and Velvet Tamarind.
