Ghanaian female rapper, Freda Rhymes, has waded into the ongoing feud between multiple award winning American female rapper Nicki Minaj and rival Cardi B.
According to her, she will choose the former over the latter when it comes to rap music.
She said as a female rapper she compares notes with Nicki Minaj.
The black avenue music signee made this revelation to KOD and Cookie on the Starr Drive on Friday.
Nick and Cardi have been in a musical beef which was recently reignited when Cardi B won the best rap album at this year’s Grammy awards.
Freda said “I compare note with Nicky Minaj when it comes to international acts. I started listening to her music when I was a kid. “
She added that she will choose Nicky Minaj over Cardi B because Cardi B just came to the music industry, noting that although she likes Cardi B and listens to her songs, Nicky has been the one she looks up to all the time.
The rapper has released a new song and is currently promoting her new banger titled” PAY”.
She, however, urged Ghanaians to expect more hit songs and collaborations with A-list artistes from adding that she will deliver nothing but the best.
