Big Events Ghana, organisers of the annual Radio and Television Personality Awards (RTP) have announced the prestigious media awards ceremony to take place in the UK.
The maiden edition of RTP Awards UK will attract the largest gathering of media personalities from Africa who ply their profession in the UK.
The event is scheduled to take place at the Discovery Centre, London in April 2020 during Easter festivities.
RTP Awards UK as promised by organizers will drive the African media personalities living in the UK to strive towards excellence in their total output.
Some winners from the recent edition held in Ghana and top Ghanaian media personalities who over the years have won awards will be part of the celebration to be held in UK.
Ghanaian artistes expected to perform on the night are Kuami Eugene and KiDi. Nigerian artistes rock patrons at the event are Mayoukun and D Banj
The maiden edition of the award ceremony was launched in 2018.
Headline sponsor of RTP Awards UK is Adonko Company Limited, producers of Adonko bitters, Adonko Atadwe and Adonko 123. Other sponsors include DOPHIL Roofing Systems and Lexta Ghana, producers of Yazz products.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Big Events Ghana, Prince Mackay said the RTP AWARDS UK is exclusively designed to bring together all personalities in the radio and television industry across Africa and plying their trades in the UK.
The Radio and Television Personality Awards recognizes outstanding media personalities whose work show exemplary leadership towards building a vision and a future for the media platform.
