President Kurt Okraku and the GFA leadership met with Sports Minister Kofi Adams on Monday morning for a courtesy visit.
The visit, involving GFA Executive Council members and Regional Football Association (RFA) chairmen, sought to enhance collaboration between the Football Association and the Ministry.
During the meeting, Kurt Okraku introduced the Executive Council and RFA chairmen to the new minister, congratulating him on his appointment.
However, the discussions centered on critical issues related to football development in Ghana, with Okraku highlighting the GFA’s ongoing initiatives and programs aimed at advancing the sport.
The GFA President reiterated the association’s dedication to collaborating with the Ministry to promote football at every level. During the meeting, he presented the Minister with copies of the GFA and CAF statutes, emphasizing the need to align policies for the sport’s development.
“We are determined to work towards the shared goal of elevating Ghanaian football and ensuring sustainable development of the most popular sport,” Okraku stated.
The meeting represents a move toward strengthening collaboration between the GFA and the Sports Ministry, focusing on enhancing football infrastructure, development programs, and governance in the country.
