Mybet.africa a leading sportsbook giant has unveiled Hiplife artiste, Ponobiom as the new face of mybet.africa brand campaigns in conjunction with a special promotion for AFCON 2019 dubbed “I Bet Ghana Will Score” in a short ceremony at their office complex in Accra.

The Marketing Head, at mybet.africa, in explaining the mechanics of the promotion said, customers will be given 5 Ghana cedis bonus for each goal Ghana scores in the AFCON 2019 tournament in Egypt. Customers are expected to place a bet of 10 Ghana cedis and above on a ticket that includes a Ghana match, or on a Ghana match only, to be eligible for the promotion.

He stated that “this is a double joy bonus for all Ghanaians to massively rally their support behind Ghana to clinch a silverware at the AFCON 2019 showpiece”. Mybet.africa was full of praise for the Black Stars team and believes with the crop of prolific strikers in the team including Ghana’s all-time best goal scorer, Asamoah Gyan, the team will surely score more goals in the tournament and bring the cup home.

On the involvement of the hiplife artiste Ponobiom, as the brand face for all mybet.africa campaigns, the Marketing Head stated that “mybet.africa is thrilled to collaborate with Ponobiom to bring to life campaigns of mybet.africa in the ensuring days and hope it inspires all Ghanaians to get involved in mybet.africa Ponobiom campaigns”. Ponobiom on his part was delighted to be associated with mybet.africa and hinted, Ghanaians would soon see exciting, and breathtaking campaigns across all media.

The Black Stars have been out of contention for the ultimate glory of the AFCON cup and will be aiming at ending a 37 years’ drought for the cup. The last time the Stars won the cup was in 1982, having won it previously on three occasions. Most football fanatic believes this year AFCON will be exciting and difficult because, for the first time in the history of the tournament, 24 teams will be participating instead of the usual 16 teams.

Ghana is based in Egyptian city Ismailia and will kick start their quest for the AFCON title against Benin on June, 25. The Black Stars are in the same group with Benin, Cameroon and Guinea-Bissau.

Go Ghana! Mybet.africa and the entire nation is solidly behind Ghana to clinch the ultimate title in the African football showpiece.
