Social Media Influencer, Princess Burland has officially launched the Diya Impact Foundation, introducing a new health-focused campaign dubbed “Know Your Numbers” to promote preventative healthcare across the country.

At a time when many individuals only seek medical attention after symptoms appear, the initiative aims to shift the focus from reactive treatment to early detection and consistent health monitoring.
The maiden event is scheduled for May 16 at Nyamekye Traffic Light Junction, where members of the public will benefit from free health services, including Body Mass Index (BMI) checks, hepatitis B testing, blood screenings, and other essential medical assessments.
In addition to these services, individuals without active health insurance coverage will be offered free registration onto Ghana’s National Health Insurance Scheme, helping to remove a key barrier to accessing healthcare.
Speaking on the motivation behind the initiative, Princess Burland noted that many people remain unaware of critical health indicators until serious complications arise.
“We’ve normalized guessing when it comes to our health. People don’t know their numbers — their blood levels, their risks, their status — until something goes wrong. ‘Know Your Numbers’ is about changing that culture completely,” she said.
The initiative also seeks to address challenges such as cost, fear, and limited awareness, which often prevent routine health checks in many communities. By providing free services and increasing public engagement, the foundation hopes to make health awareness a regular and essential practice.
To encourage participation and create a welcoming environment, the event will be supported by Pizzaman-Chickenman, which will provide complimentary meals for attendees.
Organisers say the launch marks the beginning of a broader vision for the Diya Impact Foundation, which is built on two key pillars: improving access to healthcare and empowering individuals economically through business support and mentorship.
According to Princess Burland, these two focus areas are deeply interconnected.
“Health and financial stability go hand in hand. You can’t truly build or grow when your health is uncertain. And you can’t sustain good health without stability. This foundation is about addressing both,” she explained.
With “Know Your Numbers,” the foundation is not only delivering health services but also driving a nationwide conversation on the importance of early detection and proactive well-being.
The message, organisers emphasise, is clear: know your numbers before they define your future.
