Starr FM’s Giovanni and Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku have been nominated in the 2017 Ghana Event awards.
The Ghana Events Awards is an annual awards ceremony to honor and celebrate indigenous Ghanaian Events and organizers who set the pace for excellence in event management across the country.
The Starr drive co-host, Giovanni is vying for the Male event MC of the year while Mid-morning show host (the Zone), Naa Ashorkor is vying for the female event MC of the year.
The Starr Woman project, an initiative of Starr FM which seeks to equip young women entrepreneurs with the relevant knowledge, skills and motivation to achieve their fullest potential as entrepreneurs is also competing for the best emerging event of the year in the same category with the Cake Fair, EMY Awards among others.
Starr FM’s most patronized outdoor event, ‘S Concert’, an EIB initiative, that seeks to “ build solidarity between brands that have their official references beginning with an ‘S’, including corporate brands and performing artistes” is also competing for Ghana’s favorite event of the year.
