Award-winning gospel artist Diana Hamilton has reaffirmed her commitment to delivering an unchanging message of faith while allowing her sound to evolve with time. Speaking in an exclusive interview on Starr Chart with host Bola Ray, the celebrated musician shared insights into how she balances creativity with staying true to her spiritual mission.
“Every time I work with a new producer, my sound evolves, but my message stays the same,” she stated, emphasizing the importance of keeping her music fresh while ensuring its core message remains unadulterated.
When asked how she ensures her music resonates with listeners without compromising her faith, Diana Hamilton explained that her process is deeply rooted in prayer and collaboration.
“One of the things I ask God is, ‘Father, grant me utterance to be able to put it out there in a way that you want me to do it, but also in a way that people can relate to.’ That way, my songs meet people at different stages in life and help them through.”
She credited the success of her music not only to divine inspiration but also to the team she surrounds herself with, highlighting the role of producers, managers, and media platforms in amplifying her message.
“When I work with a new producer, I tell him, ‘You have a responsibility.’ Because while my message doesn’t change, my sound does. So, when I move producers, we’re changing gears,” she explained.
