VIDEO/PHOTOS: Starr FM goes topsy-turvy

Listeners of Starr FM on Tuesday were taken by surprise as programming took a different twist with new voices.

It was a rib-cracking moment from morning till dusk as the award-winning young station rolled out a topsy-turvy edition to mark its three years anniversary.

Regular on-air voices such as Francis Abban of the Morning Starr paired with Style Coach Ms Nancy as they hosted head of technical department Bartels Haizel during the newspaper review segment. Sales Executive Winnifred Baaba Ndamse and Finance Executive Paul Koku Senyeabor took listeners into the world of business during the Business Brief at 7am.

It was laughter galore at 10am as technician Festus Affum ‘butchered’ the news script during the news update. After sweating his way through, guess what? He scored himself 90 over 100.

Ever smiling Front desk executive Linda Adomah had a smooth operation with The Zone’s host KOD between 10 and 2pm. In between was the Starr Mid-Day News hosted by EIB Network’s Executive Director Nana Ama Ofori Amankwaah and regular voice Naa Deedei Tettey.

Group HR Manager Emmaline Datey was on point with the Business News at 1pm, but social media executive Miranda Aforkor Tetteh pulled a surprise with her solid delivery of the announcement of the day, and the 2pm News Update.

The man with the deep voice Bernard Nasara Saibu took off his news cloak as he joined Starr Drive’s co-host Anita Erskine to entertain listeners on the Drive. Saibu switched positions with Giovanni Caleb, who had it easy on Starr Today with Atiewin Mbillah-Lawson.

The icing on the cake was when the CEO of EIB Network Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi took over the Front Desk Executive job and welcomed visitors to the station as well as helped out with call transfers among others.

“It’s a great feeling and always good to serve,” Bola Ray said.

Relive the happy moments below:
