Starr FM’s Master turntable DJ, DJ Mono has released a local hip pop mix tape dubbed “Gh Dey Pap”.

The super star DJ told Starrfmonline.com in an interview that just as he had assured his fans and music lovers earlier this year this is the beginning of the many great things to come.
“Most often than not Ghanaian DJs are accused of promoting songs other than local songs, but that is not always the case.
“‘Gh Dey Pap’ was motivated by the need to promote our own and sell Ghana out there, if those outside can do hip pop, nothing stops us from also putting together local (Twi) hip pop.
“My fans and music lovers were thrilled with the release of “The after X’mas Jam” and just as I assured them this is the beginning of the surprises I have for them for their love and support over the years. I will continue to treat fans to the very best of Ghanaian Music and beyond,” DJ Mono stated.
