A 3-year-old girl is in critical condition after she was shot by armed robbers Tuesday dawn.
The girl is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in the Tema Metropolis, a friend to the family Mike Yeboah told Starr News.
According to Yeboah, the robbers attacked his friend known as Alhaji who had received a female visitor from Benin. The woman according to Mike visited with her 3-year-old daughter.
A scuffle reportedly ensued which led to the robbers to shoot the little girl in the stomach.
Mike narrates that the robbers later led Alhaji to his shop in the area, robbed him of almost 30, 000 Ghana cedis, tied him and dropped him along a bushy road.
A report has been lodged with the Police as investigations into the incident is likely to commence soon.
