APSONIC auto limited, distributors of BAIC automobiles have announced plans to establish an automobile engineering school in Ghana.
The engineering school is to train mechanics in the country.
The school will help local mechanics gain technical know-how on operating all kinds of automobile.
Speaking to Starr Business at the launch of the company’s customer service campaign here in Accra, Administrative officer, Abiba Tanihu said mechanics will be expected to be abreast of evolving technology at the end of their training.
Abiba Tanihu, the administrative officer of APSONIC speaking told Starr Business that most of the local mechanics lack the basic understanding of how to fix the advanced vehicles.
