The Project Manager of Millennial Assets and Properties, Andrews Kontanyi present at the commissioning of the 12-unit classroom block at Otano Presbyterian School, says it completed the project in barely seven months, against an initial one-year completion timeline.
He disclosed this during the commissioning of the three-storey classroom block on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
According to him, the project was handed over to the company by the Municipal Assembly with the expectation that it would be completed within a year.
However, he said the company, through effective coordination and commitment to its deliverables, was able to complete the project in significantly less time.
“Entirely, this project was expected to be completed in a year, but by God’s grace we were able to use barely seven months to finish it,” he said.
Mr. Kontanyi expressed gratitude to the Municipal Assembly and other stakeholders for entrusting the project to Millennial Assets and Properties.
He said the company was determined to honour its commitment to the Assembly and ensure that the facility was delivered within the agreed standards and timeframe.
“We executed this project based on the fact that we were trusted to it. We live by our words, and I remember I stood here to say I will complete this project before the year ends, and here you have it.”
The Project Manager said the company’s approach is anchored on meeting timelines and delivering projects according to agreed specifications.
“As Millennial Assets and Properties, we always work with our timing and our deliverables are always in place to ensure that we execute what is expected of us. We are not people of mere words. We execute as we promise,” he stated.
He also acknowledged the contribution of the company’s project officers, foreman, finance and operations teams, as well as other staff who supported the execution of the project.
Mr. Kontanyi said the company remains ready to take on similar projects and apply its expertise to different construction needs.
He added that while the second phase of the planned classroom block is yet to be announced, the company is prepared to continue with the project should it be given the opportunity.
“We are a construction firm hoping to execute all manner of ideas and all styles. We are willing and capable of making it,” he said.
“The newly commissioned facility forms Phase One of an 18-unit classroom block intended to improve classroom infrastructure at the Otano Presbyterian School”. he said
