Head of Sports for the EIB Network Henry Asante Twum has been appointed commentator for the 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations in Thies, Senegal.
The experienced broadcaster together with GBC’s Benjamin Willie Graham will be the voice and face of the tournament in the West African Nation.
The 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations is scheduled from Saturday 28th September to Sunday 13th October 2019.
The tournament will be telecasted around the World on all ESPN platforms. The home-based Black Stars of Ghana won the last edition in 2017 and will push to retain the title in Senegal.
Coach Maxwell Konadu’s men beat rivals Nigeria 4-1 at the Cape Coast Stadium to win the title in 2017.
Sixteen (16) West Africa Nations have confirmed their participation in the in the 2019 tournament. Henry Asante Twum’s experience as a Sports Broadcaster spans over 13 years.
