Lizzo, Lil Nas X, Doja Cat win big at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards

All in all, the MTV Video Music Awards 2022 was a success.

On Sunday night, August 28, the awards show was held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Doja Cat, Jack Harlow, and Harry Styles all had eight nominations, making them the night’s top nominees.

Lil Nas X won the Best Collaboration award for his song “Industry Baby,” which featured Jack Harlow. Before the show was over, the energetic Lizzo also got a trophy for her song “About Damn Time,” which won the Video For Good award. Nicki Minaj also won the Video Vanguard Award this year, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers were named Global Icons.
