The Electoral Commission (EC) has confirmed the final list of candidates who will compete in the 2024 Presidential Election after conducting a meticulous review of the nomination forms submitted earlier this month.

In a statement issued on September 20, 2024, Deputy Chairman for Operations, Samuel Tettey, revealed, “The Commission instituted a thorough examination of the Nomination Forms submitted by the candidates to ensure conformity with requirements as set out in law.”

He further noted that the evaluation process took place between September 9 and September 13, 2024, and all candidates who met the required standards have been approved.
