Fast-rising Ghanaian blogger and founder of Donkorsblog.com, Emmanuel Donkor, has been crowned National Blogger of the Year at the Ghana Change Makers Awards, held on November 29 at the CLOGSAG Headquarters in Accra.

The recognition marks another milestone in Donkor’s steady rise in Ghana’s digital media space. His breakthrough came in 2022 when he won the National Best Student Blogger of the Year at the NASAAG Awards, organised by Third Star Events Ltd., for his impactful student-focused content. The same year, Avance Media ranked him 48th among Ghana’s Top 50 Bloggers, in partnership with MTN and Verna Mineral Water, acknowledging his growing influence in digital journalism.

These achievements laid the foundation for broader national recognition and strengthened his position as one of Ghana’s promising young content creators.

The Ghana Change Makers Awards (GHACMA) is a leading platform that celebrates individuals driving positive change in their communities and sectors. The awards honour impactful contributors across various fields; from entrepreneurship and innovation to health, youth development, and social impact.

“This isn’t just recognition; it’s amplifying voices for sustainable change,” said CEO Osman Nuhu, who assured stakeholders of an even more inclusive celebration of Ghanaian resilience in subsequent editions.

GHACMA continues to highlight grassroots leaders, innovators, and everyday change-makers whose work is transforming lives. The initiative aims to inspire civic involvement, encourage excellence, and spotlight stories of resilience across the country.

The event is organised by Apex Africa Concept, producers of the Ghana Youth Excellence Awards and the Ghana Medical & Health Awards, one of Ghana’s top event organisations committed to celebrating leadership, innovation, and community impact.
