The legal team of Ghana international, Thomas Partey, has responded following reports of two new rape charges brought against the midfielder.
In a response on his behalf, Defence Lawyer Jenny Wiltshire said her client strongly denies the allegations and has fully cooperated with authorities throughout the investigation process.
“Thomas Partey continues to deny all charges against him. He has cooperated with the police throughout. Given there are ongoing legal proceedings, there will be no further comment,” Wiltshire stated.
The latest development adds to the ongoing legal proceedings involving the former Arsenal midfielder. Due to the active nature of the case, further details are expected to emerge through the appropriate legal channels.
Partey, who has been a key figure for both club and country in recent years, now faces a legal battle as the matter progresses in court. Authorities have yet to provide additional public information regarding the new charges.
