Flag bearer of the governing New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has encouraged residents of the Adaklu Constituency to vote for him in the upcoming elections in December.
According to the flagbearer, the NPP has proven to be better in terms of providing the needed development for the area.
Addressing traditional rulers, the clergy, and other stakeholders in the constituency on Tuesday, Dr. Bawumia said, the NPP has on several occasions ensured the development needs of the people are met.
He said, “We have brought portable drinking water to Adaklu, we have built a youth resource center, a stadium here in Adaklu, we have brought a district police command here in Adaklu, we have built a magistrate court here in Adaklu as we have done in other districts, and we are building an agenda 111 hospital here in Adaklu.
So this tells you our philosophy for economic development”.
“The roads, when NDC was in power for 16 years they did not build the road for you but we are making a lot of efforts in many areas”, he stressed.
Dr. Bawumia therefore urged the gathering to consider voting for the NPP in December since he believes the area will do better under the party.
“You should vote for us because we believe that Adaklu will do better under the NPP and under Dr. Bawumia because we have shown what we can do.
The NPP Flagbearer is touring the Volta Region to canvass for votes in the December polls.
He has so far campaigned in 9 out of the 18 constituencies in the region where he is attempting to change the fortunes of the NPP in the area.
