The Private Newspaper and Online News Publishers Association of Ghana (PRINPAG) has urged its members to uphold professionalism and promote peace during the general elections on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
In a press statement dated December 3, PRINPAG emphasised the critical role its members play in ensuring credible, peaceful, and transparent elections.
The association made it clear that it would not hesitate to call out any member found breaching ethical guidelines or engaging in unprofessional conduct during the election period.
PRINPAG called on members to adhere to professional standards, prioritise peace and national cohesion, avoid extreme partisanship, promote civic responsibility, exercise ethical judgment, and ensure their personal security.
The association also reassured its members that the PRINPAG Secretariat would remain open throughout the election period to provide administrative support and any necessary assistance.
