A fire has broken out at the DuraPlast factory at the North Industrial Area in Accra, with firefighters battling to bring the blaze under control.
Firefighters are currently at the scene working to douse the inferno, while additional fire tenders are expected to arrive with more water to support the operation.
The National Ambulance Service is also on standby to respond to any emergency that may arise.
A number of police officers have been deployed to the area to provide security and assist with managing the situation.
The cause of the fire and the extent of damage are not yet known.
There are also no confirmed reports of casualties at the time of filing this report.
