NDC elections: YDF roots for Anyidoho, blasts NPP’s Acheamfuor

The Young Democratic Forces (YDF), a pressure group within the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has urged delegates for the November  National Delegate Congress not to retain the incumbent General Secretary of the party Johnson Asiedu Nketia.

In a statement headlined ‘NPP to the Defense of Asiedu Nketia,’ the YDF said no amount of propaganda can save the incumbent General Secretary of the largest opposition group from being rejected.

The YDF has also dismissed as false a claim by one Baah Acheamfuor that Koku Anyidoho, the man gunning for the General Secretary position with Asiedu Nketia is running at the behest of the governing NPP.

“It is clear to the YDF and the discerning public that the NPP is very petrified of Koku the BULL and he is the last person they would wish to be NDC general secretary.

“It is not surprising that Baah Acheamfuor and his one-man group is making such untenable statements about Koku since they seem to know more about NDC matters than NPP matters – having been ostracized by the NPP together with Paul Afoko and Kwabena Agyapong for apparently working for their political opponents,” said the YDF.

Below is the full statement

NPP To the Defense Of Asiedu Nketiah

The irrelevant and discredited one-man group “Save NPP Now” run by Baah Acheamfuor have decided to make themselves pawns in the NDC internal campaign for Asiedu Nketiah.

We read that Baah Acheamfuor has claimed falsely that Koku Anyidoho is running as GS of NDC at the behest of the NPP!

This #falseclaim is as preposterous as Baah and his one-man group claiming to be members of the NPP! We all know they were sacked from NPP.

It is clear to the YDF and the discerning public that the NPP is very petrified of Koku the BULL and he is the last person they would wish to be NDC general secretary.

It is not surprising that Baah Acheamfuor and his one-man group is making such untenable statements about Koku since they seem to know more about NDC matters than NPP matters – having been ostracized by the NPP together with Paul Afoko and Kwabena Agyapong for apparently working for their political opponents.

The so-called “Save NPP Now” group and its leader are undoubtedly experts in working for political opponents.

The YDF will like to remind Mr Acheamfuor to tread cautiously on these internal campaign matters of the NDC! They must desist from allowing themselves to be rented by forces within the NDC for such backward propaganda!

Finally, the YDF will like to emphasize that just as the so-called “Save NPP Now” failed to Save NPP from Nana Addo and his team, they will equally fail to Save Asiedu Nketiah from being voted out as NDC general secretary no matter how hard they try with all manner of FAKE NEWS!!!

It is a revolution!
